Don't excuse yourself by saying,
"Look we didn't know."
For God understands all hearts, and He sees you.
He who guards your soul knows you knew.
He will repay all people as their actions deserve.

GUOV experiences

If you joined us on Saturday (or any other day before or since) for our Giving Up Our Voice Event, will you please let us know?  Will you share your experience with us?  I'd love for you to share it with me and with your permission post it here on this blog.  It can be through a link here or we can have you guest blog here.  We don't care how it happens.  Just that it happens :). So what do you say?  Will you share?

The first one we will be sharing is my friend Kim, who chose to give up her voice last Thursday.  It's amazing how we realize how important our voice is when we can't use it. Even when it's just to sing a song.  Go here and read about her experience and insights.

Kim refers to a song by Jewel which says, lending your voices only to sounds of freedom.  It made me stop and think about what the Word of God says about our words. Scriptures that tell us to use our words for building up and not tearing down.  For blessings and not cursing. This song by Hawk Nelson also came to mind as I thought about Kim's experience.

So, enjoy her words and this song.

Blessings to you this day as you use your words for building up and to bless others.

STWTHE,
Laurie
