Don't excuse yourself by saying,
"Look we didn't know."
For God understands all hearts, and He sees you.
He who guards your soul knows you knew.
He will repay all people as their actions deserve.

Thanksgiving and what happened to the funds raised two years ago?

Wow!!  Time is flying.  We have been busy here with life.  From home schooling, to doctor's appointments, to emergency dental visits because of little boys who fall and chip their front teeth, to paper chasing for our adoption, to trying to finish up the unpacking of our house (still not done with that but that's ok).  It's been crazy and tiring.  We've also received some bad news concerning my in-loves and that has taken it's toll on us as well.

Life is only going to get busier than before with the holiday season in full swing.  We are headed into my favorite holiday of the year.  Thanksgiving.  I absolutely LOVE this time of year.  With the changing leaves and cooling of the weather (ok, not for us but it's a nice thought).  I love to cook and bake so there is no pressure to perform or buy just there "right" gift for everyone.  It is just a time of blessing our family, friends, and neighbors with good food, fun times and great conversation.

We will have a couple of announcements coming in the next few days.  So get ready!!  But it should be fun and something we are truly being blessed by.  I hope to have some new items up for you in the near future as well.  Remember the coasters and trivets are all available for purchase.  I can have them shipped within 24 hours.

I do want to say thank you to all of you who helped us raise funds.  Some have asked when we started to adopt two years ago, and were not able to go through with the process, what happened to that money?  Well, it stayed in a savings account for such a time as this.  Because of your willingness to help us then, we could not out right use it for other things.  You were buying items to help us bring home one of the littles we thought would be our daughter. It stayed there and was added to over the last two years.   But now, that money is being used to help bring home our son.  So, if you bought something two years ago thinking we were bringing home a daughter, the sonogram is now telling us it's a boy!!!  For those of you who bought a Rebekah Blocher necklace, you helped us raise $480 in the two waves of sales!!  So, we thank all of you for your generosity.  We are working towards our goal of bringing our boy home and we couldn't be more excited.

Each one of you, those who have helped in the past and those who are helping now, are a blessing to us that we thank God for every single day.  Know that you are in our prayers and we pray that God returns to you all the blessings you have poured out on us 100 times fold.

STWTHE,
Laurie
