Don't excuse yourself by saying,
"Look we didn't know."
For God understands all hearts, and He sees you.
He who guards your soul knows you knew.
He will repay all people as their actions deserve.

Do you see your blessings?

This week has been hard.  With the events of the week and all the comments on who's voting for who and blaming the other side, trying to find our new groove in life here in our new home,  and on and on and on, I just can't seem to find something to be happy about.  In fact, it's made me quite tired and snarky.  I hate being snarky.  It's not any fun at all!

So this post is going to start a list of things I am grateful for.  I'm just tired of people NOT seeing the blessings that are right in front of them! This includes me! :(

So here we go ~
The cool temperatures here
The rain we've had for several days now
For littles wanting to learn about new things that were never of interest before
For new friends
For old friends
For God's grace when it's time to say goodbye
For his mercies when the new day begins
For new stories unfolding
For love that surpasses understanding
For the cross
For the empty tomb
For a choice to come to him when I'm tired
For the comfort of a loving Heavenly Father
For the love of a husband
For sweet kisses on the cheek from a little who is up before mom
For snuggles at the end of the day
For Jesus being my King
For Jesus being my banner
For Jesus being our provider
For Jesus leading every step of the way
For a little boy who waits on his family to come and get him
For every single person who is helping us get to him
For lives being changed
For forever families
For each breath that we take
For big girls coming to give mom a hug just because
For a chance to make a difference in one person's life
For reminding me who I am
For I AM
For the choice to be happy
For freedom
For the gift of life
For forgiveness
For deep belly laughs
For tears
For hurts
For butterfly kisses
For memories
For hope
For LOVE
For faith the size of a mustard seed
For quiet moments
For loud moments
For smiles

These are just a few of the things I'm thankful for today.  Each one is a blessing.

Have you made a list of yours today?
STWTHE,
Laurie
