On a day of mourning for us because of 9/11, yesterday was a day of blessings for us.  God has poured out many and we are praising his name!  We are moving forward.  We are making slow progress in our adoption process.  Which is a bit frustrating.  But I am thrilled to say, it's moving at least.  God's word says that mourning may be for the night but joy comes in the morning!  Well, what a day it was for us to have some blessings and rejoice in his word on one of the worst days in our history. We still have many hurdles to jump and mountains that need moving but God is in control.  A friend told me yesterday, " I know you want this to move quickly, but rest.  Enjoy each and every moment.  Enjoy the children you have right in front of you.  Be present in the now.  God will do this and your son will be home. Enjoy and rest.". 

So, I'm taking that advice.  It doesn't mean I'm not selling stuff (HINT HINT!) because everything is for sale!  But I am going to enjoy the process as much as I can :)

So today, I want to say that I am thankful for the four blessings downstairs fighting while doing school. For the sun shining.  For the ability to put up curtains (still have four rooms to go). For each and every one of you who is helping to bring our boy home!  For life interruptions. For busy schedules. For the ability to say no :)
