I've been home now for almost 48 hours from the most amazing trip! One that is forever etched in my mind for many reasons. A place where I was welcomed with open arms. A warm embrace that comforted my heart. A place where I belong. A place where I found peace, comfort, God, and amazing love. I have no words honestly to express how may heart is torn between two places. Here in the United States and my beloved Ethiopia. I never understood when people would talk about that division in their hearts. But now, now I know. Now, as I process all I have seen and done in Ethiopia, I deal with the longing to be back, walking the streets and loving the people. I have NO REGRETS going when God said go. I'll do it over and over again as long as he continues to open the doors. I will share more when I'm through processing. I am so excited to share the journey I took. The women I met and had the priveldge of hearing their stories. They have amazing and sad stories. They are beautiful. They have dreams. They are just needing YOU to help them get started. To give them three years of support so they can make a life for their children and themselves. I will share their stories with you soon. I promise! I will tell you, I do plan on going back in March/April. I do plan on going and continuing to work with BEMM. To all of you helped me get there, again, I say thank you. My journey was amazing and I never would have gotten there with out your help. I will continue to work towards making the trip once again as well as supporting these mamas in their efforts to provide for their families and the clinic that supports the 24 villages.
