Well, I'll tell ya! only God could do the things he does. He hears the cries of his people on behalf of someone we don't even know and makes good things happen! My friend's husband is out of the woods! It was an extremely long week for them last week. I can't even begin to imagine the fear that was in M's heart and the anguish she must have felt knowing there was nothing she could do for his pain in the physical. She's a prayer warrior so I know she was down on her face praying every moment she had. I thank God for her church family that surrounded her and the kids during this time. Not only hers, but you as well.
Her updates last night and today stated that he is on the mend! He is out of the woods, hungry and eating and is ready to go home. He still has a lot of healing to do that will be done at home and with a home health nurse but he WILL be going home. If he's like my man, he is certainly getting restless in that hospital room.
So another HUGE THANK YOU! To all of you for the prayers. Please keep them up as the home recovery is still looking like a long process. Blood vessels have been popped in the eyes (approx 6 weeks to heal- thankfully no permanent damage), another couple weeks for some of the other organs that were affected and I'm not sure what else. He's the sole provider in their home, so will you please pray for provision. He's a fireman, so his pay is not all that great. But we trust the LORD for their provision. He knew this was going to happen, so it's not a surprise to him. I am just so excited that he's doing so much better though. So I'm doing the Snoopy Dance! :-).
May God just love on you so lavishly today and always!
STWTHE,
Laurie
P.s. I will be updating a few more items soon. I had a couple of time consuming orders come in and it's been a VERY busy weekend outside of the home. So bear with me! I'm working! Tonight will be a late night but I so hope it's worth the wait!
