Don't excuse yourself by saying,
"Look we didn't know."
For God understands all hearts, and He sees you.
He who guards your soul knows you knew.
He will repay all people as their actions deserve.
Proverbs 24:12

Not much to say

Haven't done much posting this week except for the new pictures. Not much to say I guess. It was a week of Studying the book of Ecclesiastes, finishing up purses and spending some much needed time with my kids. We had to go do some shopping for some pants for all of them and only found maybe a pair for each. It's hard living in a small place where everyone shops the same places as you looking for a deal. Luckily, my kids don't mind thrift store finds so I hope to head out to the two that we have in town and find some deals there this week. With Christmas coming, maybe there are people clearing out some closets getting ready for their new wardrobe? ;) ok, maybe not but we are looking for those elusive finds anyway. I actually have one who would love to find some 80's stuff. That cracks me up. I so love this child! I love all of them. They all go to the beat of their own drum. It's fun to watch and see the world through their eyes. I really do enjoy my kids.

Have a date with my man for sometime today. We need some face time so I am excited about that. Life has just gotten in the way and we just need some time to talk uninterrupted. Nothing serious. Just talk. I know you all know what I mean.

We are also talking about birthdays in this house as we have two coming up. Back to back literally. One will turn 11 and the other will turn 7 the very next day. My kids are awesome. Neither child wants a lot of stuff either. They have given us their birthday and Christmas list and there's maybe two things on them. The other two have about the same on their Christmas lists. Crazy.

Well off to do laundry! Uuuuggghhh. I count it pure joy as I could not have any clothes to wash at all, or a husband and children to do it all for. I just have to say, that its not one of my favorite things to do.

"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men,". Col 3:23

Ecclesiastes 9:10. Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, for in the grave, where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom.

Ephesians 6:7 Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not men.

Some good reminders that I am doing all of this for the LORD.

Be blessed today and always!

STWTHE,
Laurie

OK...I am laughing here, thinking i could have written this post!! We are huge thrift shop shoppers, have three birthdays this week (4, 12, and 10 yr.), I would bet you on who has more laundry piled up and unfortunately, no date with Tim--but that is much needed!!

Thanks for the smile and sharing the daily duties of life as a mom--I can relate!!
